The Bafta Awards 2011

The Bafta awards hit London last night.....and so did the rain. There was a lot of red last night and I'm not just talking about the carpet. Here are a few of my favourite dresses from the awards and there are some from the pre party and the after party.

1)Amy Adams

This is Amy as she was leaving her hotel to attend the awards. Below is a photo I took myself as I was there.

This is a really pretty dress which compliments both her skin tone and hair colour. The little sparkle adds a touch of glamour.

2)Hofit Golan

Everyone loves polka dots. I most certainly do. They bring fun to an outfit. Really love this dress, especially the lace detail at the top and bottom.

3)Thandie Newton

Its such a pity it rained last night as Thandie's dress was my favourite of the night but the drops are clearly visible. I did however manage to get a photo of Thandie leaving her hotel before the rain got to her dress

She look stunning. Even the paparazzi waiting outside said 'wow' when they saw her. Its everything a red carpet should be - long, big and colourful.

4) Emma Stone

Although this dress was kind of plain, Emma has accessorised well - gold bracelets, gold clutch, gold waistband and even her hair is looking more golden. The one shoulder gives it a modern finish.

5) Jameela Jamil

Just realised Jameela is wearing the same dress as Hofit but with a different pattern. Their dresses are by Dolce & Gabbana. I really love the bright red poppies which stand out over the black. I love most things Jameela wears and this is definitely one of my favourite looks from her.

6) Talulah Riley

Talulah looks so elegant in this Escada gown. The colours are very nautical and I particularly love the bow on the shoulder. Her hair has a 50s Hollywood feel to it which I adore.

7) Sarah Harding

Sarah brought some fire along to the Baftas last night in this red hot chili colour dress. It can be hard to really stand out on a red carpet by wearing red but with the high slit up her leg, all eyes were on her.

8) Emma Watson

I much more preferred this dress Emma wore for the after party than the dress she wore for the actual awards ceremony. This dress fits better with her pixie haircut and has a lot more detail like the ruffles and flowers. This is something I would absolutely wear.

9) Rosamund Pike

This was Rosamund at the Pre-Bafta party on Saturday night. I really love this dress and poppies are becoming quite popular on clothing. This dress is perfect for a little party - flirty, elegant and vibrant.
