Mon Plaisir

Ah Bonjour!

I hope you've all had a refreshing weekend, despite the weather. I was working (BOO!). So that's why I was a little quiet on the blog front, I mean I do work 7 days a week, but the weekends I'm always extra tired from having to wake up so early (hello 5am!) and then trying to have a social life after an 8 hour shift of standing on my feet serving some pretty grumpy customers. Oh well, that's life! It's Monday, and I'm back with a new outfit post, featuring yet more tartan.

This is from a week or two ago. Me and my housemate Elie went for a little wander around Covent Garden. We checked out the pop-up forest they had at the Seven Dials, took in some art at the National Portrait Gallery and then dined at a posh French restaurant - Yum!

This tartan skirt I bought from a second hand shop in Donegal town when I was visiting family in Ireland in August. It was only 2Euro and is a lovely warm felt material. I've teamed it with a cream chiffon boho top from Topshop, light lilac cardigan and my new favourite black buckled shoes from New Look.

This was my favourite painting at the NPG. We're so used to seeing paintings of members of the Royal family looking so official, this is why I love this one so much. It's so relaxed, just 2 Prince's hanging out.

I've been successful in winning a free clothing trial from Oasap. It's not something I'd usually go for, so watch this space!

I probably won't be back tomorrow as me being the awesome sister that I am, will be taking my brother to the London Film Festival as an early birthday treat. I'm really excited to get the chance to wear something a little special. All shall be revealed soon.
